Frequently asked questions

When is custom software worth it versus buying off the shelf?

If an existing system does 80% of what you need, buy it — it's cheaper and you have it tomorrow. Custom is worth it when your process is your competitive advantage and no system respects it, when per-seat licensing has stopped making sense, or when your operation depends on spreadsheets nobody else understands. In the first session we tell you honestly which case you're in, even when the answer is that you don't need us.

How long does a custom software project take?

It depends on the process we're automating, so we don't quote a number before we understand it. The first thing we do is map how you work today and split the project into stages; each stage carries its own date and delivers something you can already use, instead of waiting months for the end. After the first session you get that schedule in writing, with fixed scope and price per stage.

What happens if the project grows midway?

We work in stages with fixed scope per stage. If something new comes up halfway, we quote it as a separate stage instead of folding it into the original price and stretching the date. You decide whether it goes in now or later. No surprise invoices.

Do I own the code?

Yes. At the end you get the full repository and infrastructure access. You can keep working with us, hire another team, or bring it in-house. We don't use platforms that trap you and we don't charge rent for something you already paid for.
